I guess someone who made the big decision in 1938 just got his job back.

Considering the kind of people Time has named "person of the year" I wouldn't be too arsed about Bush making the cut.

Me too. There are lots of people like him in there. Some even worse.

How could he be man of the year when there is such conflict over his decision making? Unless it was rigged like the first election, lol

If you are comparing Bush to being parrellell to Adolf Hitler then you seriously deserve a beating.

Why not?

Violence always solves disputes quite well. If you disagree simply approach opponent, proceed to maim, beat, wound, or kill; yes that solves everything.

I just see Bush as an evil, madman - the very tag applied to Hitler. Ooops...I forgot, he's also a murderer but the cover up of that is holding quite well.

Honestly, the one person who should've gotten the award again, besides Bush:

The American Soldier

Let's face it, if it wasn't for that person, Bush wouldn't have gotten that second term. All he did was start a war with hardly a great justification (IMHO) and he gets this award. Maybe in 2000, but not this year.

Well, that's my christmas ruined...

They do seem to have a long tradition of awarding it to arseholes and dictators,
Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Chaing Kai-Shek, Nikita Khrushchev, Deng Xiaoping, Yasser Arafat, all enemies of freedom at one point or another, true some became statesmen like Arafat, but were terrorists at one point and we're supposed to overlook indiscretions of the past. Time "Person of the Year". I wouldn't wipe my arse on it!
