SATHEE initiative provides free and open access to quality education for weaker sections of Indian society. The article is needed for documenting constructive efforts in public education and highlight the role of Technology in providing equitable access to all sections of society. This is in alignment with sustainable development goals (SDGs). There are plenty of citable sources in public domain to refer for verifiable information.
Feedback and suggestions for improvement are welcome. It is suggested that the article is kept. Abhijeetsaxena21 (talk) 09:13, 18 March 2025 (UTC) Note to closing admin: Abhijeetsaxena21 (talkcontribs) is the creator of the page that is the subject of this AfD. [reply]
  • Speedy delete Unambiguous advertising, WP:G11. I don't see the point in having a seven-day-long AfD discussion. Yuvaank (talk) 10:25, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep This article was created on 18 March 2025 and nominated for deletion the very same day, which seems head scratchingly hasty. SATHEE is clearly a notable educational initiative backed by the Indian Ministry of Education and has already received coverage from reliable national sources like The Times of India and India Today (both WP:RS). I've removed promotional wording and improved sourcing. Nominating it for deletion immediately after creation undermines good-faith efforts (WP:AGF) at improving the article. Given its notability, this stub should be given a fair chance to develop further. Additionally, we should remain mindful of systemic bias (WP:BIAS), as rapid deletion nominations may disproportionately impact articles about non-Western topics. • Speedy delete: A piece of advertisement and promotion. Probably a case of possible UPE. Zuck28 (talk) 22:12, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Clearly WP:PROMO. Even the sources are on promoting the organization. RangersRus (talk) 15:52, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Need to be very cautious about using India Today and Times of India when it comes to government and corporate media related issues in India; both are essentially pro-government and have checkered history regarding churnalism and paid-for journalism (See WP:NEWSORGINDIA)), by themselves these sources cannot push this over the line for notability. • Delete Nothing more than advertising. Write up of few sources have used the language which indirectly promotes the subject. UPE can’t be denied in this case. Rahmatula786 (talk) 09:08, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
